Who Are you?

Hello,

My name is Pat or TPLennon on the Sprinter Forum. The forum community is the reason the Hangout exists. The encouragement – and most importantly feedback – from enthusiastic van owners inspired and guided the design process.

I’m passionate about users benefiting from thoughtful design and I’ve been refining my skills in new product development, user research, and manufacturing for more than 25 years. Thirteen of those years were with Microsoft where I led the mechanical design and production engineering team for the PC Hardware group. The rest of that time has been focused on developing simple and intuitive products to improve health for people in low-income countries.

At the risk of reducing my credibility, I’m listed as inventor on a number of patents and have authored peer-reviewed research articles.

My goal is to make your van life more awesome by designing products that look good, function well, and are easy to use.
